How to add WLM - Windows Live Messenger
on your website
As you could notice it on my page of contact, you will find a button style messenger which opens a window of dialogue Web Messenger:
How does that function?
This button enables you to launch a Web messenger in the navigator to dialogue with me via Windows Live Messenger.
This solution offers several advantages:
- You can discuss with me by using your account Windows Live ID or by an anonymous way.
- My address Windows Live ID is not displayed.
- You can contact me on Windows Live Messenger without having to install this last.
- My status of availability is displayed. If I am off line, you cannot discuss with me.
How to add Windows Live Messenger on my Web page?
- Go on the parameters of Windows Live Messenger:
Select checkbox "To authorize everyone to see my presence and to send messages to me."

Then, it is necessary to recover code HTML of script. For that, Windows Live generates it to you for you. Click on “Create code HTML”. This page enables you to parameterize how the button of status is displayed, the color of the Web Messenger…
Caution: Following returns of users, it would seem that several elements cannot be used on the same page.
- Finaly, copy generated code HTML and to paste it in your Web page.
Caution: Code HTML must not be modified. If you use an editor, do not apply automatic formattage.
